Rant, Rant, Rant …….

I’m a huge fan of Instagram and Facebook pages dedicated to makeup looks….LOVE IT!! Mostly because everyone has their own unique different interpretation, style, favorite products and brands. I really enjoy seeing that and gaining inspiration from others work and learning about a company that isn’t mainstream. Not all of us are born with the capability to produce the perfect canvas the first 100x that sh*t takes practice. So, I get really annoyed when people bash someone who is starting off. It takes balls knowing someone is going to say they don’t like it but, you still put it out there because you’re proud of it. And yes, by doing so that person opens up to a world of negative comments. Not everyone will see what you deem to be beautiful and that’s fine. But, when people say things like you’re really caking it on,you’re still fat, boys shouldn’t wear makeup, homo, you’re ugly….I can go on…..like really? And most of these comments coming from other girls/guys doing the same thing. Which is like wtf!! If you feel that person needs a couple tips do it in a positive manner. You don’t know the person on the other end of screen or how those hateful words will effect them. We have all been there at some point in our lives. Put out a positive message and change someone’s view for the better. Someones clown is someones beautiful princess….SO STFU and just be nice! Kthanks:) Rant ended.

Bored ? Play dressup!!

I live in Upstate NY, and right now we are being pounded with snow! (GAHHH I LOVE SNOW). But, people freak out and shut the world down because they see one snowflake fly by. So, Im stuck indoors and I should do something productive like cleaning or something. BUT O NO, NOT ME!!…I go into full 3 year old mode and play dress up. Now, dont deny it! All of us girls and some boys out there love trying on every outfit we own, taking stupid pictures, doing your makeup differently, changing hairstyles whatever it is that makes you happy. Here are a couple of my past year boredom looks that I did. If you would like to know how I did my makeup or what products I used just leave me a little love 🙂

Eye liner in sticker form

Now this is pretty fancy! the Brits think of everything!!….Eyeliner stickers make you look like a pro in minutes with no effort at all! This British line is amazing and affordable. You can even find some of their products via Ulta and Amazon. Check out their site and see everything else they offer! Really thinking about ordering some crystal eye candy 🙂

What did you get for Christmas?

I haven’t even played with it yet! I’ve been so busy with holiday tomfoolery that I’ve barely cracked into it. I use to be a huge TEMPTU fan when it was first introduced through Sephora. People always complained that the pods didn’t work or they didn’t like the formula. I had no problem with either, I would still use it but Sephora has stop selling the brand and now TEMPTU has branched out on their own. Which kinda irks me because I wasn’t given any warning this would be happening! ANYWAY….sorry for the rant! But YAY for DINAIR!!! I can mix my own colors, give myself a spray tan, eyeshadow, eyebrows…….gawdddddd Im gonna be looking so fancy now!!!

DIY Lipstick Palette

Hello Sugar cookie!! Here is yet another fun DIY.

I probably have my own Lipstick factory in my bathroom, purse, room, car, the dark spaces of my mind….That stuff is every where!!! And its super annoying to travel with 20 different colors because I lose them! So, this is a cheap and creative way you can keep your favorite colors near you at all times!! Now I will say this….it is kind of a trial and error process. Some lipstick brands and colors may change in the intensity of the pigment after being melted. NYX lippies usually seem to be the best to melt.

Things that you need-

A candle, a good thick metal spoon, and something to put it in. (ex. mint can, paint palette, pill keeper, re-purpose an eyeshadow palette or just buy one off ebay/amazon.)

1. Light your candle and cut off about 1/4 of the lipstick. And place it in the spoon.

2. Gently and slowly melt the lipstick over the candle because, you don’t want to burn it.

3. Once the consistency turns into a liquid, pour into the container of your choice.

4. Tap it a few times to get the air bubbles out. Let it cool and set up.

5. Clean up any mess with alcohol and cotton swabs.

Get a nice case, sterilize each well with alcohol and dip the lipstick in the alcohol as well before cutting, smoosh the rest into the well and than use a lip brush 🙂
